My Favorite Chai

I’m not a huge coffee drinker and got into chai a few years ago. Since then, I am SUPER picky about my chai. This is my favorite recipe for at-home chai that’s not too spicy and is the perfect hot or iced latte.

here’s what you’ll need:

+ 2/3 cup boiling water

+ 1/3 cup Javafrost Vanilla Chai

+ Trader Joes vanilla coconut beverage (or any kind of milk- this is just my favorite)

+ a frother (optional)

directions:

  1. Bring the water to a boil and pour into a large mug (I usually guess an amount and measure after it’s boiling because water boils down).
  2. Add the Javafrost chai powder and froth until blended.
  3. Add in desired amount of coconut beverage or milk and froth again.

If I serve it over ice, I usually put it in the fridge for a while to cool it down so it doesn’t immediately melt the ice cubes. If I want to serve it hot, I pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds and that’s it! Super easy and delish.
